FIFA Ranking by Country

Find a national team

Every men's team in the current ranking has a country page with world rank, points, previous rank, confederation place, and a link into the calculator. The full directory is FIFA ranking by country (A-Z).

You can also search the sortable men's world ranking table and open a team from there.

What each country page includes

Country pages, the ranking table, and the calculator all use the same live points.

Browse by confederation

If you care about a region rather than one country, use the confederation lists:

Project points from a country page

On a team page, use Calculate points. It opens the FIFA ranking calculator with that team set as Team A. Pick an opponent, set match importance, and compare results.

The method is explained in how the FIFA ranking works and how to use the calculator.

Country page and calculator use the same points

A country page shows where the team stands in the current ranking. The calculator shows how one more match would change those points.

When you open the calculator from a country page, Team A matches that page. Opponent points come from the same ranking table. That works for Italy, Belgium, Uruguay, Senegal, and every other team in the list.

Look at a confederation, then calculate

Confederation lists are useful when you care about neighbors more than the global top 10. UEFA and CONMEBOL include many of the highest totals. CAF, AFC, CONCACAF, and OFC lists matter around qualifiers and continental tournaments.

Pick two teams from a list and try them in the calculator. For friendly versus qualifier swings, see friendly vs competitive ranking points.

Women's ranking

The table and calculator here cover the men's ranking. The women's world ranking page explains that list. Men's importance values and penalty scores are not automatically the women's rules. Check FIFA's women's ranking notes before you reuse them.

Brazil as an example

Open Brazil's ranking, note the rank and points, then use the calculate link. Brazil is Team A. Choose an opponent from the same ranking, set a friendly to 5 or 10, and compare a win with a draw.

Run it again at 25 to see the same result as a qualifier. The only change is the importance.
